Each piece is custom-made, allowing you to choose unique sprays, bow colors, and ribbon styles for a truly personalized design. Yes! We love bringing seasonal style to events and commercial spaces. Whether it’s a corporate holiday party, storefront display, or office decor, we’ll create a custom holiday look that’s eye-catching and perfectly tailored to your space. From elegant garlands to festive swags, we’ve got designs that will have everyone stopping for a second look.

During your delivery week, we head straight to the farm to hand-select the freshest, most vibrant pumpkins for your package. Your order is then delivered directly to your porch. If you’ve added setup, we’ll style everything for you so your home is instantly seasonal and beautiful without lifting a finger. You do not need to be home when your pumpkins are delivered.

 Here are a few simple tips to help keep your pumpkins looking fresh all season long:

Check regularly – Keep an eye out for soft spots. One bad pumpkin can quickly affect the bunch. Also, note that pumpkins in direct sunlight will decay faster.

How to keep squirrels away– We love pumpkins! But so do our furry friends. These methods aren’t foolproof, but they usually help keep pests from turning your pumpkins into snacks.

• Aerosol hairspray or dish soap: Lightly coat pumpkins to make them less appetizing.
• Cayenne pepper: Sprinkle around and on your pumpkins to deter nibblers.
• Vaseline: If a pumpkin gets a small nibble, apply a thin layer to create a protective barrier.

Preserve carved pumpkins – After carving, apply a thin layer of Vaseline to the exposed edges to lock in moisture. This also helps slow decay if pumpkins are nicked or damaged by pests.

We’ve partnered with Enrich Compost to collect all pumpkins, straw, and other organic matter. By teaming up with Maymont and Richmond Metro Zoo, we make sure nothing goes to waste or into landfills. Pumpkins that are still in good condition will be donated as food and enrichment for farm animals, while everything else will be responsibly composted.

When you check out, you’ll choose the week you’d like your items removed. Pickups may happen on any day during that week, including weekends, and you don’t need to be home for us to take care of it.

We love pumpkins and fall—but we want to celebrate sustainably. That’s why working locally and supporting our community is so important to us.

At Patch to Porch, we start by sourcing pumpkins from a local farmer, reducing our carbon footprint while supporting Richmond-area agriculture. Our team is entirely local, and we’ve partnered with Enrich Compost for end-of-season pickup. Any remaining pumpkins, straw, and organic materials are directed to Maymont, other local farms, and composting facilities, ensuring nothing ends up in a landfill.
